Orlimar Intercept MB Irons

I have been playing golf for about 20 years and have hit many different sets of irons over the years. I just got back into playing more lately and was searching for a new set of irons.

The irons I previously owned were 15-20 years old. Sure, I could hit them well and can even work the ball but they just wasn’t giving me the distance I wanted.

With being a 7-10 handicapper I wanted some irons that gave me some forgiveness without having to sacrifice workability and distance. These irons does just that. They allow me to work the ball and not sacrifice distance at the same time. For instance, I typically hit my 5 iron 200-210. I am carrying my 5 iron 210 with a pure strike.

As far as the set up, the top line is thin-medium in thickness and sets up well at approach. The club face is smaller than expected but the lower center of gravity of the muscle back appearance is great for added distance and forgiveness.

I looked at many different set of irons including Takomo, McGregor, and SMT. While these irons are still very budget friendly, spend even less with the Orlimar Intercept MB irons. You will not regret it.
